Down South

So much for the crazy locals at this spot. The local guys were surprisingly chill, and the dude on the blue board throwing the air was insanely good and boosting huge airs all day.

U got lucky esp. if that was recently. Locals were not out on a day like that. Trust me. Not really on the radar right now. It has been an odd summer thou. Buddy scored legit Strait last weekend.

What were the buoys reading that day?

NO idea, swell was around 8 ft, but I had to go to Eugene anyways so I thought I'd swing through seaside on the way down and then again back up...

haha. that cracked me up. yeah. locals surf there when it's good. and although that day might have been good to everybody that was surfing it, from the photos, it looks like sh!t compared to how it looks when the locals are out and stoked to ruin the day of a traveling surfer. get some while you can.

Haha yeah sorry, didnt mean to imply this was the best this place gets or that the hardcore locals were out, but im not too picky, so I was pretty pumped on this.
